13.4 Maximum Liability. In any event where em88 is found to be directly liable to you, em88's total maximum liability shall not exceed the value of funds held in your em88 account at the time the relevant claim arises, or PHP 10,000, whichever is greater.
14.1 Grounds for Suspension. em88 reserves the right to suspend or restrict an account, with or without prior notice, where there are reasonable grounds to believe that the account holder has engaged in prohibited conduct, provided false information, or where the security of the account is at risk.
14.2 Termination by em88. em88 may permanently close a player's account where the player has materially breached these Terms & Conditions, including but not limited to: engaging in fraud or money laundering; creating multiple accounts; using automated software; engaging in bonus abuse; or providing false identity information. Upon termination for material breach, em88 reserves the right to forfeit all account balances.
14.3 Voluntary Closure. You may request the closure of your em88 account at any time by contacting customer support. Upon account closure, any remaining balance will be withdrawn to your verified payment method, subject to applicable verification requirements. Note that self-exclusion and cool-off period requests are processed separately through the Responsible Gaming tools section of your account.
14.4 Dormant Accounts. 15.4 Game Result Disputes. In disputes concerning game outcomes, the results recorded in em88's game server logs shall be considered the authoritative record. em88's records take precedence over any data displayed on the player's device, which may be subject to display errors or network latency issues.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Philippines. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms — including any question regarding their existence, validity, interpretation, breach, or termination — shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Philippines, unless otherwise required by applicable law or agreed between the parties in writing.
If any provision of these Terms is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.
17.1 Right to Amend. em88 reserves the right to amend, update, or replace these Terms & Conditions at any time. Amendments may be made to reflect changes in applicable law and regulation, changes in platform features or products, changes in business operations, or to correct errors or ambiguities in the existing text.

17.3 Continued Use. Your continued use of the em88 Platform following the effective date of any amended Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not accept the amended Terms, you must discontinue use of the Platform and may close your account in accordance with Section 14.3.
